Our Approach

At The Behaviour Blueprint, we don’t separate behaviour from communication, development from context, or therapy from everyday life.

Our approach is neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, and grounded in the understanding that regulation, connection, environment, and relationships matter. We look beyond surface behaviours to understand the whole person and build practical, meaningful supports that strengthen participation, communication, learning, regulation, and independence in everyday life.

We provide holistic support across speech pathology, occupational therapy, behaviour support and early childhood practice. Our work may include therapy, capacity building for parents, teachers and support workers, as well as courses, education, and nervous system-informed support – all designed to strengthen participation, regulation, communication and everyday life skills in ways that feel practical and sustainable.

We focus on:

  • building skills that support everyday life
  • strengthening participation across home, school, early learning and community
  • embedding practical strategies into daily routines
  • building the capacity of parents, teachers and support workers
  • supporting each person in ways that feel respectful, authentic and sustainable

At the heart of it all is this: neurodivergence and disability are not things to be fixed. They are part of the person and deserve to be understood, supported, and honoured.

We aim to increase safety, autonomy, communication, participation, and wellbeing in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.

Because support should build capacity, not compliance.
And every person deserves to be understood, not reshaped.

Welcome

Welcome to
The Behaviour Blueprint!

Hi, I’m Courtney!

As an Autistic and ADHD mum to neurodivergent twin boys, I know firsthand the challenges—and joys—of raising children with big feelings and strong wills, all while managing your own sensitivities.

The Behaviour Blueprint is here to support families like yours in navigating the tricky behaviours that often arise when parenting neurodivergent children. We use approaches that are not only backed by science but that we personally rely on every single day.

Our vision is for The Behaviour Blueprint to be a one-stop hub for parents—a place to support your own regulation as well as your children’s. Our goal is to help families create their own unique roadmap for a calmer, more connected family life.

Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here.

Kindest,
Courtney xx

What Families are saying

Katherine

"I wanted to say a massive THANK YOU for all the help and support and validation you have given us over the past 6 months. We have had so many wins of late thanks to you, your team and the group!"

Taryn

"Not only did Courtney have a gentle, non-judgemental approach but she offered actions that we could implement that day, which helped straight away. While our son continues to have hard days, we now know what we can do about it. I believe Courtney's work has also saved our family, our marriage and my life"

Amy

“I cannot recommend Courtney more highly. We are a busy house with four kids aged 2-8. She has made my husband and I look at each individual child and their needs to help them in the way that they need help, not how we thought they needed help. We have learnt to listen and ask questions to find out what is really going on and to find solutions together. All of my kids are so different and with Courtney's guidance and patience she has helped me change my expectations and look at each situation with a new perspective…each week we are seeing and feeling change”.
